Joint Commission creates web portal for COVID-19 resources

The Joint Commission has created a web portal with resources to assist health care workers as they prepare for a surge of patients with COVID-19. Topics covered include managing patient flow to increase hospital capacity; creating temporary “surge” hospitals; and expanding telehealth services in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
