Current Research Studies and Surveys
What do nurse leaders know about health policy and what is their level of political astuteness?
I am a DNP student seeking participants for a baseline assessment of political astuteness. The study’s purpose is to assess where nursing leaders are in their knowledge of policy and advocacy. If you are a manager, director, or CNE/CNO/VP, then your participation is greatly appreciated. The anonymous survey should take less than 5 minutes. For nurses to become more involved in advocacy, we need to understand the knowledge base of our leaders.
What is the impact of an emotional intelligence (EI) education on nursing leaders' emotional intelligence scores?
I am a DNP nursing student seeking participants for a study on emotional intelligence. The study's purpose is to determine if providing an EI targeted education impacts nursing leaders' post education EI scores. EI skills are critical to nursing leadership success, as El as organizational success. This project aims to introduce nursing leaders to EI through a targeted education and compare EI scores before and after the educational intervention.
