Current Research Studies and Surveys
Leadership Capacity When Leading in Public Crisis Situations
Understanding leadership qualities and capacity during times of unpredictability informs leadership development. I am a PhD student looking at how nurse leaders across care settings learn, think and operate through unpredictable situations such as a public health crisis. To participate in an anonymous virtual interview and/or focus group, please email alinger@my.gcu.edu. Survey expires June 11.
Accountability for Patient Experience Measures
I am a doctoral candidate conducting dissertation research and am seeking inpatient unit nurse managers or assistant nurse managers (current or within the past 5 years) to take part in a 45-minute interview to share their experiences being accountable for patient experience scores (such as HCAHPS). All interviews will be audio recorded (for transcription purposes) and confidential. Those who participate in an interview will receive a $75 Amazon gift card. Survey expires June 11.
