Florida patients highly satisfied with curbside check-in

Curbside check-in and contactless registration protocols put in place during the pandemic by AdventHealth of Altamonte Springs, Fla., is meeting with approval from 95% of patients, the health system reports. Appointment confirmation, insurance verification and COVID-19 screening occur online prior to each visit. Patients text the office when they arrive in the parking lot and are escorted to exam rooms when clinicians are ready, skipping the waiting room altogether.
