PCORI initiative aims to increase uptake of evidence in practice

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is developing an initiative to facilitate the uptake of evidence from PCORI-funded research directly within health systems. Through the Health Systems Implementation Initiative, health care delivery systems and provider-aligned health plans will have the opportunity to undertake implementation projects to improve health care and health outcomes in ways that support lasting change. On May 20, PCORI posted a Request for Information (RFI) to gauge interest in the initiative and seek feedback on its design, including supports enabling health systems to participate. Responses are due July 15. To learn more, join PCORI’s upcoming webinar on June 29.
