Misinformation about pregnancy and COVID-19 vaccines is pervasive

Among women who are pregnant or want to become pregnant, 7 in 10 believe or are unsure about at least one piece of misinformation surrounding pregnancy and COVID-19 vaccines, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor. Among the misperceptions: 24% incorrectly believe pregnant women should not get a COVID-19 vaccine; 16% incorrectly believe the COVID-19 vaccines cause infertility; and another 44% have heard the misinformation and are not sure if it is correct.
