Webinar highlights new workplace violence standards

Although many hospital and health system leaders already were focused on mitigating workplace violence before the start of the COVID 19 pandemic, the pandemic has exacerbated the need for hospital leaders to ensure clinician and staff safety. During a Dec. 8 noon webinar hosted by the American Hospital Association Hospitals Against Violence initiative, participants will learn from leading organizations about the current state of hospital workplace violence. They will also in hear from the Joint Commission about their new workplace violence standards going into effect in January 2022, and gain tangible next steps for implementing safety strategies in their own facilities.
