AONL released the second phase of its Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Belonging toolkit this week. The updated resource will assist nurse leaders in improving DEIB with practical action steps. These recommended steps can be adapted for the nurse leader role, practice setting or based on where the system, hospital, unit or department is on its DEIB journey. The updated version incorporates feedback gathered from members and collaborative partners. It includes additional tools of advocacy, augmented case studies with guided reflective discussions, bolstered resources and more. AONL seeks feedback on this version to ensure ongoing development of valuable resources.
